What is cPanel?
cPanel is a software specially designed for web hosting so that you quickly easily manage your web site and hosting options using a graphical, web-based interface. With this software, you can manage an unlimited number of websites, email accounts, etc.

What is shared Hosting?
A shared web hosting service sometimes referred as virtual hosting service or derive host is  a hosting service where many websites reside on one web server connected to the Internet. Each site has its own partition, or section/place on the server, to keep it separate from other sites. These services is cheapest of all and can be used by new users.

Shared hosting is typically one of the most affordable hosting service, and can be used by people in the initial stage or for those using smaller websites that would not generate massive amounts of website traffic. One possible pitfall with  shared hosting is the harmful presence of your server neighbors whose unscrupulous content or spamming methods could get your legitimate website blocked. However, most top web hosting companies does take care of this issue.

Advantages and Disadvantages
The price is by far one of the biggest advantage and  normally sites hosted on a shared server will typically offer more storage space and will be hosted on servers with highly redundant hardware. Moreover, you don't need to be a tech expert to use this service. Since shared hosting servers always host 100+ websites on a regular basis, your site is constantly dealing with other sites to get CPU time. It is not meant for high-traffic website due to low server resource.

What is VPS Hosting?
VPS hosting is a type of web hosting that uses Virtual Private Servers. A VPS runs its own copy of an operating system, and the users have root level access to that operating system; this enables them to install almost any software that runs on that OS. It's functionally is equivalent to that of a dedicated server, and being software defined are able to be much more easily created and configured. They are priced often lower than dedicated servers and much higher than shared hosting.  The performance of VPS may be less, and may depend on the workload of other instances on the same hardware node.

VPS hosting is considered a step up from shared hosting. Business owners often make the switch to VPS hosting after experiencing the limitations of the shared hosting infrastructure. With this hosting you get your own installation of Windows that you can manage, typically administration access is given, and you can then install additional software.

Advantages and Disadvantages
With VPS, you can get a decent amount of disk space and bandwidth along with adequate CPU resource. Since you have the access to the server, you can install any applications and software. You can also set up and configure the server as per your requirement. Since you have to self manage the server you need to have  the in dept knowledge of server and its configuration.

What is Dedicated Hosting?
Any website getting over 10,000 hits a day you must be prepared to get a dedicated server. Obviously, the next step after VPS hosting is dedicated hosting, and it is used by big corporate and business. Dedicated hosting is simply a server located in a data center somewhere of which you have complete control over, and hence is dedicated only to you, and you can use and configure the settings the way you want. Dedicated hosting are meant for those who need high performance and top rated service.

Dedicated server has exact same advantages as of VPS with the additional benefit of more resources readily available, but, here cost is the biggest issue. Small-business owners cannot afford it. All leading web host companies provide dedicated server at monthly or yearly fees.

Advantages and Disadvantages
With this hosting service, you get what you see. You have absolute control over your server and can configure as per your requirement. With a dedicated server, you can access to much more computing power than it is possible with a Shared or VPS plan. However, you should know how to configure the server and manage your own backups and security. Hardware or software upgrades means downtime for your server and can be expensive to maintain.
